You guys must be joking...? You understand the chart? Someone not Wardo explain it to me please because the way he does it does not make any sense.

Am I insane or is 43 just a random number that he picked?

I'm still trying to figure out why 80-30 and 100-30 show up twice. Guess 100-30 is better than 100-80 and 100-20, but worse than 100-40.

80-30 80-60 80-50 80-40 80-30 80-20 80-10
100-30 100-80 100-70 100-60 100-50 100-40 100-30 100-20 100-10

Of course we're joking.

Here are the parts that I like:

"0-10%:

10-20%:

20-30%:

30-40%:

40-50%:

50-60%:

60-70%:

70-80%:

80-90%:

and

Higher number: Slot A

Lower number: Slot B"

One shortcoming of this inspired system is that there are no TAB A's or Tab B's to go into their respective slots.

I think it's trying to calculate if a team uses a certain percentage of the maximum allowed during recruiting. ie..70-30; 70% of the max 20 home visits would be 14 home visits. Compared to a team that uses 30% of the available home visits (6). I'm guessing 43% came from dividing 30 by 70.

But does that mean the team that spent 30% of max effort has a 43% chance to sign the guy? If 43% came from 30/70 I would need to see the reasoning behind doing so. If that is the case than 70% vs. 60%, the 60% effort has an 85% chance to sign the guy.

This thread is stupid.
The title alone should have told all of us that it would get to stupid eventually even if it didn't start there.

43% came from a forum post from odd percentage.

100-30, and 80-30 is (43%)

I challenge you Coach Ward.

Post you chart and explain what the hell it means.

If you do so successfully, and have at least three real humans say they understand and agree with it, I will buy you a team.

If less that three people agree with you, you promise to never post it in a thread again.

Do you accept?

Recruiting EFFORT Percentage:This right here is 10% that means a random result or Very High/High equals coin flip random draw 55%-45% effort result in a coin flip random result

This right here below me is the key chart to run it through the information as a guide

Key Chart: 43% total use of effort

Higher number: Slot A

Lower number: Slot B

intervals of 10 = Coin Flip

As many hours as I put into studying the potential recruits and recruiting just for one season, I'm not even going to take 2 minutes of my day to try to decipher this. Coach Ward came up with this table? I stare at it and it makes me want to bash in my tv with a baseball bat. I'm totally not joking either.

The thing about trolls is that if you don't feed them, then they go away.

I think it has something to do with Einstein's theory of relativity, the winning powerball numbers, mixed with the nuclear codes. Once you have those, you can plug in the values and it is spot on.

You guys need to study the chart more carefully, everything is there. It changed my recruiting forever.
