The Tigers have fared a bit better recently than their overall winning percentage would indicate, and IIRC, it wasn't that long ago that the Twins won the championship.

Maybe they didn't know draft would start today, but I'd have to think that if you are picking a team like Arizona or Detroit you'd know you're gonna be up early.

Over the last 10 Rule V seasons, Twins have made the playoffs 2 out of 6 times (0 championships). The Tigers have 3 playoff appearances out of 10 (tjefferson won a championship with them). But you are right about their recent win%. MIN is at .483, DET at .496.
