Five Random Seasons At A Time

16 Team league - Format B - 4/4 w/interleague.

Listed below are 16 sets of 5 seasons from 1936 to 2015. After signup you'll be assigned to 1 set randomly. All 16 sets will be used, 1 for each owner. League alignment will be chronological as well. I plan to run this League for 16 seasons and if you return each season for all 16 you'll use each set once.

Starting with Season 2 returning owners will jump ahead to the next set of seasons in chronological order except for the owner who had the 2011-2015 set, they will jump back to the 1936-1940 set. If we need replacement owners they will get choice of any open abandoned sets on a first come basis.

The first season you can use any 25 players from your 5 seasons. Starting with season 2 and each season thereafter the 20 players that get named from previous seasons on the Award page as MVP's and Cy Young's will be blacklisted. The blacklisted players will only be those specific versions of those players. Other versions of those 20 players will still be eligible.

Stadium must have been used within your set of seasons.

If we get enough owners to stay for 5 seasons WIS will provide prize money. Whoever has the highest win total over those 5 seasons will be awarded the $$$. This will be done at the end of each successive 5 seasons. At the end of the 16 seasons I will give 1 free team to whoever stays and plays in all 16 seasons.

One question. 16 seasons will take us through a fair amount of dynamic salary updates. Will the cap be raised in accordance? Otherwise, I worry that some 5 year periods may be more advantageous for some and luck will become more of a factor vs skill.

To answer your question with another question.......
Will the more expensive players be the ones who get blacklisted as we go? Then they won't be there to draft in subsequent seasons anyway and a higher cap won't be needed?
