I miss the preponderance of 24 team leagues where an owner had four chances to make the playoffs where anything can happen. With the 30 team league it is even better with five chances to make the playoffs. But everyone wants to play these 16 team leagues - because they fill faster? With the 16 team leagues you get one shot in each league. Sure, the league may fill faster but just like those not so great old days, forty games into the season the writing is on the wall. They suck! Wake up!

i definitely prefer 24 but even juice6 felt compelled to go to 16

I think most of us would agree that 24-team leagues are the best option, but there are times when a particular theme doesn't allow for it or would take forever and a day to fill at 24...

Yup. We'd probably still be trying to fill that thing at 24.
