Changes in the GUESS Reports Topic

Starting March 1st 2017, we're making significant changes to the way team ratings are computed, and the way players are ranked. We are now using the player's highest-scoring position role to determine their place in the rankings and their contribution to the overall team score. For example, if a TE has a higher "Blocking TE" rating than "Passing TE" or "General TE", the "Blocking TE" rating will be used. This change should better reflect the impact players will have on the team.

Top 25 Lists have been expanded to now have a separate list for each position role. So now you can see the top 25 Running QB's in addition to the Top 25 Passing QB's. The tabs across the top have been replaced by a drop-down menu. I liked the tabs, but there just got to be too many of them with each position role present.

A new feature in the bottom menu allows you to change divisions without having to go back to the main screen.

Finally, we've made several cosmetic changes. Pages are uniformly presented in a "centered" alingnment, and we've cleaned up the way some columns line up. Also, check out the "Conference Rankings" page for a new look - one that we hope to institute on some of the school pages once we get all of the school logos downloaded. No ETA on that; it's a tedious process.

These changes are made possible by the people who have donatated to support the GUESS web site, and we thank them very much for their support.
