Actually I had a defensive playbook using new formations that I had just started practicing. Just shocked me that they could work that bad. Usually even if you haven't practiced, you can get reasonable results. I went back to standard defenses and only gave up a little over 100 yards in second half. But I did just because of what you asked about. This AI has never had a human manager and I had rankings 30 points higher than the AI. I had to drink a second bourbon to get over the shock.

A mick drinking Bourbon ? Might have to switch to some good old Irish whisky. Your defensive formation concerns will go away
