Stupid Question Topic

This will show what I know. I decided to try my luck at DII in a world.

Recruited this guy

Hoops Dynasty – College Basketball Sim Games - Taylor Mabrey - Ratings - Knight - Hoops Dynasty Basketball | WhatIfSports

I know he can't play or practice, but will I lose him?

and before I get **** on, his ATH, SPD, BH, Stamina and FT are all green and his DEF is blue. He is purely a gamble signing.

did you make him a promise? if not, you shouldn't lose him.

No you wont lose him. He will be available next season to play/practice.

Just make sure you keep his cumulative GPA throughout his career above 2.7 (May be slightly lower for D2, 2.7 is D1) because if you do he will come back as a Sr./5

This.

Looks like you did pretty well for yourself. Some coaches tend to stay away from Ineligibles. For this reason, they can be easier to get.

It doesn't matter if he made him a promise, he is ineligible.

At D2 It just has be above 2.0 to qualify for the 5th year.

And with the potentials you said that guy is not bad at all for a C- team to take.

i was under the assumption that if you make an illegible a promise (if you can. iv never tried) the promise would obviously be broken because he doesn't play. if I'm wrong, my apologies.

I came in too late in my first season and just wrote it off completely. Aimed for low end DI guys during this period, can only go up from the C- lol

Related clarification question: if you recruit an ineligible for D3 he will become eligible right away right?

.......yes

Sidenote: I didn't say anything about this, but I did promise the recruit a start + minutes. So I'll have the official answer to whether they bolt soon enough.
