March Madness! Full!!! Topic

Enter your favorite college team in the What if Sports Final 24. Draft a team comprised entirely of NBA players who played for that school. See http://www.basketball-reference.com/friv/colleges.fcgi?college=ohiost to find eligible players for each given school. There are at least 50 schools who could field a legitimate team. I've made a list of 36 who have at least 20 players in the NBA with a cumulative total of more than 200,000 minutes in their careers (10 times the roughly 20,000 minutes you need for a single season).

They are as follows:
School Minutes
North Carolina 855,828
UCLA 831,061
Kentucky 643,355
Duke 578,348
Kansas 518,988
Michigan 430,016
Indiana 428,571
Arizona 403,213
Ohio State 373,574

Texas 227,886
Oregon State 210,573
NC State 206,792

(Teams in bold are taken).

This list is not exhaust the possibilities of schools who could field teams. It's just a list of schools who meet the criteria above (20 players with 200,000+ total career minutes). Other possibilities include Oklahoma, Purdue, Utah, Missouri, Auburn...the list goes on.

One team entry per school. No composite teams. No foreigners. No high school only teams.

$47 million cap. Please name your team simply by the school and mascot (i.e. Ohio State Buckeyes). Chose the arena located closest to your school.

Teams will be seeded using total career minutes, number of players available, as well as number of Hall-of-Famers and perennial All-Stars. Divisions will be aligned geographically to the greatest extent possible given the final make-up of the league.

I will select Marquette to start things off.

Since I ask owners to join the Annual Alumni League every January, I had better join this. "My" Irish are barely competitive at lower caps with an addition or two, so I'll go with

MICHIGAN STATE

Thanks for joining, all3. The MSU Spartans are number 9 to join the field.
