Simple Blackout league (FULL ) Topic

We may all be tired of seeing certain players too many times. Many don't want to go through the hassle of an entire draft. So here is a simple concept that might let us try something new.

Every owner as they join the league gets to blacklist one player. When we have 24 owners, there will be 24 players NO ONE can choose. After we know who are the 24 banned player, we draft our teams and play. While we may end up letting some owners draft multiple teams and ban multiple players, I hope we won't have too many owners with multiple teams. No Clones allowed in a single team.

Salary Cap : 57 million dollars ( This should be high enough for people to experiment )

List of players banned.

P.S. Since we will ban many high-priced superstars, I would love to see a much lower salary cap (50 mil?)

I am very curious to know which high-priced superstar would actually be the dominant player in a winning team in this league, thus is hesitant in reducing the cap without much data. When we take away about 24 oft-used players, everyone left has two or more warts, thus any high salaried player used may not dominate as the owner who drafted him envisioned. With higher salary cap, I believe owners have more room to try out players he has been avoiding in other leagues. Therefore, in order to see if it is possible to win with a player or two that most owners usually avoid, I would like to keep the salary cap a bit high, at least for the first time. If majority of owners who joins in desires significant reduction in salary cap, I will abide. Also, if we get to do this league a second time, we can perhaps try it with lower salary cap, to see what kind of difference it will make regarding the teams, and perhaps to the players being banned as well.
