Not sure if anyone took notice, however if you go to the team RPI list and then click on prestige it appears to list the prestige in order starting with high A+ all the way down to low D- . Most importantly, it gives you an idea or where you are regarding high and low in a particular letter grade. For instance, if there are 10 A+ and I'm first on the list, I can assume I'm at a high A+, more than likely.

Same thing with free throw grades, Both individual and team.

I'm guessing most vets knew about this, but don't recall it ever being discussed on the forums.

Are you sure? it seems odd that in the Rupp world Chapman (#1 as I see it) is rated higher than Millsaps (#3) in prestige

Could be accurate in IBA.

At D2/D3, # of wins might have a bigger impact than RPI or deep post-season runs.

Here is a list of A+ teams in D-1 Phelan in order of prestige.. At least checking the Top 3 it appears to make sense.
1. Syracuse
2. Kansas
3. UCLA
4. Colorado
5. Illinois
6. Florida
7. Wisconsin
8. Indiana
9. Louisiana State
10. Iowa
11. Texas A&M

Baseline prestige/School/Tournament Wins Past 4 years(Championships)/4 year RPI avg.

A+ Syracuse 17(2)/12
A+ Kansas 13(1)/17
A+ UCLA 13(0)/3
B- Colorado 13(1)/11
A+ Illinois 7(0)/35
A- Florida 10(0)/5
A- Wisconsin 9(0)/10
A-Indiana 10(0)/20
B LSU 10(0)/15
B Iowa 9(0)/9
B Texas A+M 9(0) 13

I'm guessing Illinois is still high on this list of A+ teams, not so much what they've done in the past 4 years, however in the past10 seasons they do have 3 national championships to go along with the A+ baseline prestige.

I would be surprised it's in order except when no game have been played and the draft has been done.

I'm thinking it probably works for just D-1 after doing a check in Phelan, where prestige matters the most. Not sure if there is an order for D-2/D-3. At the time of the original post, I assumed it worked for all divisions, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Maybe if you had a bit more postseason success you could make it higher on the list

Hoops Dynasty – College Basketball Sim Games - Team Profile

This team is #1 in Phelen after being an A prestige team last season, and they didn't even win the championship (runner up).

As mentioned. The prestige list most likely only applies to D-1. West Florida is D-2.

Probably what is happening in that instance is the D2 teams (and D3 ones) are all being capped at the highest possible prestige value allowed for an A+ school (it would have to be lower than the worst program at the next division). The D1 school prestige is open ended thus its unlikely multiple teams end up with the exact same numerical prestige value.

It looks like with all things WIS, if its a tie, they show it alphabetically (Chapman, then Millsaps, and then W. Florida).

This is definitely new in 3.0. Prior to the update teams (in any division) were listed randomly when sorted by prestige. Previously if you checked prestige the A+ teams would be listed in a different order every time you sorted by prestige.
