I've found that sometimes my guys get one injury recovery and sometimes they get two and I've seen guys on other teams that get more than two injury recoveries. What is the distinction?
p.s. I always carry 20/20mm in medical/training.

Depends on the length of the injury. If it's less than 60 days and you put him on the 60-day DL anyway, he may get extra recovery bumps before his DL time is up. If the injury is longer than 60 days, you only get one when he recovers or at Game 161.

I discovered this recently when I was expecting a guy with a long-term injury to get multiple bumps and it didn't happen. Live and learn.

it's injury dependent, most of them get 2 bumps, certain ones get 1, certain ones get 3+

I have a guy I just put on the DL with an injury more than 60 days. Once he gets his recover bump, can you take them off the 60 Day and add them back on with 1 injury day remaining, and possibly get the game 161 recovery?

No, you cannot remove a guy from the DL if he's still injured.

You can, after 15 or 60 days, depending which one you use, you can remove them and add them again.

This is nonsense.

You're an idiot

The idiot here might be the person passing incorrect information. Such as the type of injury determine how many recovery bumps a player gets.

You're 100% wrong and I'm 100% right, this instance is not disputable.

Almost every injury on this list is 2 bumps. However, a very small number are 3+, of which shoulder aneurysm, elbow surgery, and ACL tear immediately come to mind. Similarly, a very small number are only 1, including at least one of the shoulder ones. Non-baseball injury and flu-like symptoms are 0 bumps, dizziness could be also. Off the top of my head I do not have a comprehensive list of which are the 1-bump injuries but in my experience based on every single team having 20 medical and putting 25+ guys per season on the DL I am 100% confident that it's injury-type-dependent and not player-dependent or attribute-dependent. The only way to learn this is thru experimentation, one injury at a time. For people who have played the game for such a long time, neither of you seem to know much, nor are either of you very good

Lot of words. All nonsense.

And easy as hell to check and dispute.

I retract that. Dizziness, non-baseball are non-recovery types. Not sure I've seen flu-like but that would be understandable. But even insignificant "broken finger"-types can be 2 recovery cycles.

Yes, broken finger is two bumps and you get arm accuracy (but not arm strength), dur, inj, and maybe contact and power but I can't recall. Each injury has its own config of attributes and # of bumps
3/24/2017 5:49 PM
Attributes, yes, # of bumps, no.

How about ACL tear? Asking for a friend, who may or may not have blown out his ACL after I may or may not have traded for him.
