The idiot here might be the person passing incorrect information. Such as the type of injury determine how many recovery bumps a player gets.
You're 100% wrong and I'm 100% right, this instance is not disputable.

Almost every injury on this list is 2 bumps. However, a very small number are 3+, of which shoulder aneurysm, elbow surgery, and ACL tear immediately come to mind. Similarly, a very small number are only 1, including at least one of the shoulder ones. Non-baseball injury and flu-like symptoms are 0 bumps, dizziness could be also. Off the top of my head I do not have a comprehensive list of which are the 1-bump injuries but in my experience based on every single team having 20 medical and putting 25+ guys per season on the DL I am 100% confident that it's injury-type-dependent and not player-dependent or attribute-dependent. The only way to learn this is thru experimentation, one injury at a time. For people who have played the game for such a long time, neither of you seem to know much, nor are either of you very good
