1961-62
Oscar Robertson 30.8 p, 12.5 r, 11.4 a, PER 26.0
Wilt Chamberlain 50.4 p, 25.6 r, 2.4 a, PER 31.7
Bill Russell 18.9 p, 23.6 r, 4.5 a, PER 19.4

League MVP = Bill Russell. The voters valued the two way player and gave him the award. Because you know defense matters.

That and he played on a 60 win team and voters love the best player on the best team.
Wilt and Oscar were on top 4 teams though. It wasn't like they were on losing teams.

I really wish the rockets would rest james harden from here on out. Get healthy for the playoffs...

We aren't going to catch San Antonio and it's unlikely Utah will catch us. Time to prepare for okc/Memphis.

20 for 68 his last 3 games. That isn't helping himself or his team. I applaud the desire to play (unlike certain tissue-tough players), but when you're hurt, sometimes rest is best.
