Vanderbilt was absolutely an up and coming team the last 3 seasons, but I could not pass up the chance to coach UNC being I am a born and raised Tar Heel. Here is a small snapshot of my last few seasons:

Not that it needs to be said, but it is known that recruiting in the second session when taking over a new team is not fun. With our original 5 openings, I cut one to take it to 6. I signed 3. If any of the three are playing significant minutes beyond the upcoming season, that is not good. I can not wait for the seasont roll so that I can focus on my first full season recruiting at UNC and bringing in a decent class. The next 3 posts will be my 3 signees.

While they are very low rating to start, they do all have pretty good potential. They should all develop into decent bench players, and they will be better than any walk ons.

This recruit did not sign until 2am, roughly 3 hours after recruiting ended so it was a surprise that I got him.

The first update! 3 games into the season we are 0-3 and about to face Syracuse. Needless to say we are going to be destroyed. We almost got our first win last night vs SIM AI Siena but lost the lead at 2 minutes and could nto make the half court winner.

At this point we are 8-10 with 100 RPI and SOS of 46. Currently sitting at 116 on the projection report. If we finish the season strong and a lucky break here and there we could actually make the PIT. 7-1 end to the season is not at all out of the realm of possibility.
