I hear people say that and I don't think this is true. That team was stacked if you think about it. Tyson Chandler is a great modern day center, won a gold medal with team USA. The Matrix was older but still balled defensively that playoff run. Even though he was also older Jason Kidd is a first ballot hall of famer. Jason Terry MIGHT have been the weakest as far as long overall career goes for their starters but he also balled during that run. Peja was no slouch off the bench either.

no, Pau was not a top 3 player (ever- he wasn't even on any of the 3 all league teams that season) - top 20 probably (he did make a few all league second and third teams in there during his run) but not top 3, that's crazy

I thought you were aware that all3 is huge Lakers fan. Kobe never did it alone, nor any Laker.

OK top 3 maybe not that's fair. But if you watched him, he was easily a top 10 player at the time IMO and certainly a top 3 big. 3 straight trips to the Finals isn't easy.
