I have a question regarding pending assigned players. I just completed a trade and I have two players pending assignment. And our Rule 5 roster freeze is tomorrow morning. What would happen to those two players if they were left there pending assignment and the rosters were frozen and then the draft was completed? Would they be thrown in with the available players to draft?

Yes, they will be available. I think the only way they wouldn't be was if the trade was complete on the PM2 cycle.

Only if they are off the 40. They can be on the 40 and still pending assignment.

True. But they have to be added to the 40. It doesn't happen automatically.
