I am dumb. I sat a guy I promised to start on purpose for a big game then the next night I forgot to put him back into the starting line-up. He lost 12, 12! work ethic. If I start him the rest of the regular season, will it come back.

It *should.* Every player has an unknown threshold for what will make them happy/****** off, but the general rule of thumb is if you honor 80% of your promises you *should* be ok.
