I would also be overly cautious with the first guy that has a potential LP rating of 95. The first instinct would be to "up" his distro, but keep in mind his very low PE is going to hamper his scoring efficiency. Probably subpar athleticism to go along with it. However, on the flip side of the coin, you might be able to get away with it more at D-3, especially going up against weaker Ath/Def PF.

I would go with #2 because I like bigs who can pass some in Motion. Of course if players don't have ANY blue or green, I usually ignore them anyways.
I would probably consider taking #2 if he was running a fastbreak/press or if he needed a SF.
3/23/2017 4:38 PM
Well, that's the other thing. My SF is a SO. My team will be set next year so I could just target a better PF next season(3 SR).
3/23/2017 5:01 PM
Probably a moot point. Human D1 showed up. He has 4 openings and no PF. If he's going to jump in on the cycle before signing, I'm sure he's pumping enough AP/HV/CV to take him. I've got a lot of resources in him but it's D3 "a lot". If it was a SIM, I wouldn't care as I believe I have enough. Ugh.
3/23/2017 5:39 PM
To be honest, I wasn't overly impressed with either PF.

Considering that 12th guy really isn't needed on your team and next year you have 3 seniors, plus that walkon, that will give 4 open scholarships to recruit with for the following season. That seems to be the most sensible option if you ask me.

When you first asked I didn't think you were considering that as an option, otherwise I would've said something.

Back-up PF wasn't that high of a priority. I generally run a 10.5 man rotation and I'm sure I can find a way to replace those 12 minutes I'll need him.

Just find it odd that a D1 team would come calling on either of those guys this late. They're D3 players and not that special.

I lean to PF#1 and honestly a walkon at this point, scout and recruit higher potential next year...

In my humble and probably wrong opinion, He will be good for coming off the bench and scoring in D3... with his core potentials (LP/BLK/REB) all in the 70's he would be serviceable. His defense blows and his ATH is low for my liking, but if you up his distro and limit him to 10-15 min per game he will be serviceable if he is efficient. He also wont hurt you on defense as much with limited time.

Not sure why a D1 team would be after that at all...

Ward, I think Mike is pointing to the fact that the D1 coach is putting recruiting $$ on this PF, when after scouting him, he should have walked away...

And no, just one user name, one team, one world (for now) - Im in Phelan. (although i was in the inaugural season of allen world back in 2004)

Potential EE declaring? Or Mike has been a pain in the crap hole for some time and he is teasing Mike! Interesting how long did you play when you first started just comeback?

That made absolutely no sense to me.

I bailed on #1, signed #2 to play b/u SF and added a C(#136) who was a SPD/ATH equivalent, more or less, to #1 to play b/u PF for a season. None are needed for more than 10-12 minutes. Hope to redshirt the 2nd guy.

3rd guy is definitely a SF.

4th guy is the best of the bunch. If you don't need him to play right away, I'd RS him.
3/24/2017 8:08 AM
Yeah, 4th guy was my priority. Got nervous with him because a couple of D1 SIMS dropped in at the end of RS1 so I signed #2 just in case.
