Eckersley would be intriguing

I figured Joss, Pedro & Koufax would be included. Not that excited about Gibson (he's only got one season people ever use). I think Walter Johnson would be a good candidate. Could use another lefty. Maybe Randy Johnson. Kershaw would be fun, but not sure if he has enough seasons.

Actually of the ones I named Gibson is the only one I didn't look at yet for seasons. You may be right about him. I'm sure there are a lot of good candidates. they don't have to be really tough pitchers to be fun to use, Palmer, Seaver, Pettitte, Mathewson, Cy Young, and so on....

I also think it would be a great challenge to use a less-excellent pitcher and lower the salary cap for the hitters. Maybe $40M on the pitcher and $30M on the hitters, just to get away from the usual suspects.

Kershaw does have enough innings. The Ben & Jerry League team of all Kershaw won the division.

Ill give it a shot.

Was thinking the same thing. His high BB/9 would make for interesting roster compositions, especially when compared to a guy like Maddux.
