We have one opening in the tenth season (1986/87 and 1987/88) of a double season progressive which started with the 1968/69 & 1969/70 seasons. We progress 2 seasons at a time. Each season owners are able to select which of the 2 seasons they will use for each of their players, if the player was WIS eligible in both seasons. There will be adequate players available.
The team available is the Washington Bullets (name can be changed and city moves can be made to an unoccupied city which fits geographically in the Central Division). We will be ready to begin the draft in about 1 week.
The Bullets are 36-39 with 7 games left in season 9 (1984/85 and 1985/86) and will be drafting about 9th to 12th .
Since we progress 2 seasons at a time, player turnover in the league is rapid. Rookies for the 1986/87 and 1987/88 season include superstars Reggie Miller and Scottie Pippen and Tyron Corbin, Brad Daugherty, Armon Gilliam, Ron Harper, Kevin Johnson, Derrick McKey, Johnny Newman, Chuck Person, Olden Polynice, Dennis Rodman and Hot Rod Williams. The Bullets should be able to get one of these players.
The current owner has been kind enough to post a suggested keeper list for the Bullets, which is posted in the immediately following post. This list is, of course, subject to change by a new owner.
A new owner will have a rebuilding task that may take 2 or 3 seasons to build a contender.
This is a stable league with relatively low turnover
