Owners will pick which season they would like and which league (American or National). There are between 28 and 30 choices in each 24-team league. The first 12 of either league (American or National) chosen will close that out. In other words, if the 20th owner picking in League 1 chooses the 12th National League team taken, then, obviously that means that eight others chose an American League team and the remaining four owners must choose an American League team. Once all teams have been chosen and loaded into their leagues, the alignment will be chronological in each league (A.L. / N.L.).
