This is the Yarnell Invitational (named after Yarnell Ice Cream in Searcy, AR). As always, it'll be a 6 team round-robin tournament that will occur in weeks 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 of the non-conference schedule. Harding University has been the tournament host historically, and it has been New Mexico Highlands University since season 92. The defending champ from the previous year is an automatic qualifier. Interesting opening night of the Yarnell for sure. All road teams won, including a couple of un-ranked underdogs against top 5 opponents. My game against UNF went about as badly as it could from the standpoint of how I try run this team and losing a starter to injury 5 minutes in really hurt - so I really want a rematch in the NT...haha
