I recently lost a recruit last minute. I panicked and signed a bad player to avoid a walk on. Afterwards I realized that football penalizes recruiting class but it really doesn't matter in basketball. Walkons don't have to be given scholarships, so is it better to just leave that spot open. I'm probably going to cut that player which lower my rating

Best to take a walk on in HD. I sometimes do the same thing when recruiting HD and GD at the same time
