Anyone see Springer’s catch? Unlike anything I’ve ever seen
Must be an Astros groupie if you think that catch was so spectacular...

When did “unlike anything I’ve ever seen” = spectacular? Basic English guys.

How many times have y’all seen an outfielder jump over his teammate (who called him off) to make the catch.

Must be an everyday occurrence according to y’all

Kershaw was great in Game 1. Nice to see Koufax still looking good and watching approvingly from the stands.

And at 2 hours 28 minutes it was the quickest World Series game since 1992. I could get used to this!

Kershaw struck out 11 Astros, which is the most by a Dodger pitcher in a playoff game since Koufax struck out 15 in the 1965 Series. Here they both are, after tonight's game.

Game 2 even better than the first one (though much longer!). This one's shaping up to be a great series.

Oh my god my heart! All in favor of not seeing Devenski pitch again this season say “I”

Can the Dodgers possibly recover after Game 5? I think they really needed to win with Kershaw making the start. I can't believe 12 runs wasn't enough...

the altuves have not yet begun to hit

this classic is only going six

I would think the fact the Astros have gotten to Jansen twice would be more jarring to the Dodgers. Can they feel confident going to him in Game 6 with a lead in the 9th?

Jansen looked great tonight, was perfect in nailing down the 6-out save. Verlander finally lost as an Astro, and it's Game 7 coming up tomorrow. It's been a really fun series to watch. Let's hope the last one is close and not a blowout...

well i was half-right

The Dodgers can’t be too confident that Jansen will be of much help tonight. Better get the lead early. Verlander has been very impressive. It would be a nice story if Houston, with all the city’s recent difficulties, wins but, I’m pulling for the Dodgers.

You have to assume Jansen is unavailable tonight, but who knows. Seems like Roberts is banking on Kershaw going the last 2-3 innings.

The bullpen use could be wacky and wild tonight. No doubt only the Game 6 starters (Verlander and Hill) are off the table for the managers.
