The Dirty Dozen is a 12 team single season progressive, which started in 1920. We need a new owner for the Boston Braves who play in the National League. We have two divisions of 6 teams, and the two pennant winners meet for the World Series. There is no DH (its the 1930's!), trades are encouraged, and you can use AAA though they are usually just bench fodder (low quality). There has been a strong core from the start but have taken on a few new owners over the years.
Note - Boston Braves have Babe Ruth, Carl Hubbell and Red Faber. They finished second in the NL last season but did trade away their first, second and third round picks in their drive to win the pennant (they finished one game back). They otherwise have the 12 draft pick.
In our league, owners must keep a maximum of 20 players, to prevent teams from retaining too much talent. The draft usually runs over a few days.
So who will step up to the plate and take over this stacked team?
