I could use all the advice I could possibly get right now. I thought I had made all the good moves for this season, and we already had a 7 game losing streak. Part of this had to do with the realization of how poor the optimal pitch counts are! The system was optimizing a starting pitcher with 85 stamina for 50-60 pitches! What is that all about??!! We are hitting great. We are pitching pretty well and fielding well. In fact, hitting is best in the league, but we still manage to lose games...

You're 25 games into the season....give it some time

Durability also plays a role in how many pitches are optimal. I find that the recs are usually higher than I like. My guess is your SP have DUR of 20 or so.

Things that stuck out after a quick glance:

- You're highest rated starters are lefties which isn't ideal. New owner's are often confused when their lefties aren't performing as well as similar rated righties.
- Don't use specialists. They are never used by the sim.
- I'd probably tandem some of your low stamina righties with some of your lefties to get the maximum value out of the righties while giving your lefties better matchups against their righty lineups.
- You're setup guys have decent splits if they were starters, but as relievers they'll be inconsistent.
- Don't know what the financial situation of your league is like, but you're paying guys that I wouldn't hold onto past arbitration 1 or 2.

Gotcha. When I hit 'recs' for ML, it optimizes it?

You probably had done the recommendation before spring training and then forgot to do it again before opening day. The pitchers always pitch in the 50s-60s during spring ball so that is what makes most sense on that front to me.
