In your instructions it says that after the twisted players the rest of the roster has to be made up of franchise players from 2000-01. Shouldn't that be 2001-17? Otherwise the majority of our team is going to be comprised of players from just one season.

I'm assuming he meant 200-01 to 2016-17 seasons?!?

What does this mean?
It means the rest of your roster is filled out with players from your chosen franchise between the years 2000-2001. No twisting for those players.
So we can only twist to that one season?
No. You can twist 5 players from your 2000-2001 to present roster back into the 90s between 1990-91 to 1999-00. Then you can twist 5 of your roster players in the 2000-01 to present seasons. The rest you may not twist. That's 10 possible twists.

I haven't played in SimLeague Hockey leagues before (just the exhibition leagues), but willing to learn and would take the Washington Capitals if new owners are allowed in.

Just reread the rules again and realized the Sharks will not be able to use some obscure top notch players like Igor Larionov, Sergei Makarov, and Bernie Nicholls. Oh well, we're stacked at Centre anyways!
