I read the play-by-play for fun, but it can also be useful if you see something you don't like that can be remedied via Advanced Settings or Team Managerial Style.

I thought maybe it gives u some insights.I recently had a game where I was tied going into top of ninth.I had my 23 mil Ruth leading off.I never imagined WIS would Oh for him just because lefty Braxton came in.Needless to say I unchecked Ruth's being ph for,pr for,Dec. replacement for after that

I use those defensive replacement settings aggressively on my best hitters. I don't want them wasting their stamina in games that have less than a 20% chance of the outcome changing.

one of the biggest questions is who does sparky intentionally walk.if I've got a deadballer I'm not worried about McGwire but my setting might be at 4 for someone else

I don't look at play-by-play unless I see something unusual in the box score. too many teams not enough time.
