1) So i have a freshman PG with a 58 BH that is low and two others with a 51 and 28 that are high. Why would that be?

2) Can i cut players that i don't want to keep after the season?

3) when i see the colors for if someone rankings are high/low and such, will that ranking change the higher up they get? example, if my PG is a green 58 in ball handling, if he stays a 58 as a sophomore will that change?

1) It's potential SO your first will get to 60 about, the second 71, and the third 48.
2) No, you cut them when 2nd recruiting session starts.
3) It will. It goes from green (VH) to blue (H) to black (A), to yellow (L) to red (VL)

Just to clarify on 3. The player's potential color will change as he gets better at that skill (because he has less growth remaining), but it won't change just because he's a year older. A green 58 as a FR will still be a green 58 as a SOPH.

Also, would anyone be able to throw over some practice tips?

Green is 28+
Blue is 20-27
Black is 8-19
Yellow/orange is 3-7
Red is 0-2

What Benis is saying is if you have a green 58 in BH that means your player has 28+ points in potential points to grow. Could be 28 could be any number higher.
As it grows it will change colors for the potential that is left. So when your player BH turns blue you now have 20-27 points to grow and so on down the list.
This will give you an idea of your players potential to grow. Also a players WE (work ethic) determines how fast it will grow in conjunction with how much practice time you have for BH.
I'm just using BH as example.

is this rate the samefor all attributes? For some reason I thought, LP and PER improved ALOT with green and ATH improved very minimally with green potential.

Yes, LP and PER are most common to improve by 50pts or w/e. But it's still 28 points or more for green. There's no way of knowing if it's 30 or 50 pts on a LP or PER either.
