So, In isolation: A team with high caliber defense, very limited perimeter. have a choice of starting at shooting guard either two guys with fairly equivalent speed, ath, def, lp, rebounding, etcetera, the main difference being one has a 98 bh but a 68 per, and the other has an 86 per but a 74 bh. The other main difference being that the high BH guy also has a 97 to 78 stamina advantage. In a flex press, who do people prefer. I'm vacillating myself.

Giving up 20 points of BH is painful. But then again, having at least one guy on the court who can hit some threes would be nice.

Against press 98 BH no doubt. Against almost any other lineups 98 BH. In some situations where I see a slight advantage, the other one. But I think your 86 PER could score off the bench a lot better.

My question would be are you trying to shoot three's? The 98 BH 68 Per to me isn't a three point shooter but more of a pull up or drive guard with that BH.
If Your going against a Zone the 86 Per 74 BH guy would probably be your guy maybe even in man if the opposing guard wasn't as fast and his DE was not high.
But I think you beat me every time we play so what do I know lol

30 points of handles is better than 12 of perimeter IMHO. I'd put the 86 PE guy on the bench and have him at 2 different positions. 1/2 or 2/3 depending on what you want.

Unless it's high level D1, I am going with the 86 PER guy, all day long and not thinking twice. Having one three point shooter is worth way more than having ANOTHER inside scorer.

It's 24 points of BH vs 18 points of PER. I would take the PER in almost every situation.

Oops. I thought it was 98 BH against 68 BH and then 86 PE against 74 PE.

Against FCP take the high BH.
Against a zone I will take the shooter
Against the M2M if the talent is close go with the BH guy. If it is a mismatch and I am going down, I am firing away with the PER guy.
