Two Hall Of Fame Players

Standard 24 Team WIS Format

This will be a multi-season league.

2 round Draft to start using Hall of Fame players that have a "FIRST" WIS eligible season in 1925 or after. You'll select 1 HOF Hitter and 1 HOF Pitcher. Random draft order for round 1 then serpentine for round 2. Select either a Hitter or Pitcher in round 1, opposite in round 2.

After everyone has their 2 HOF players you will be randomly placed into 1 of the 6 divisions, NLE, NLC, NLW, ALE, ALC, ALW. Everyone will start the first season of the league using the rookie seasons of your 2 HOF players.

If your HOF player has more than 1 WIS eligible version in a season, you pick which version you want to use.

You'll then have a 23 round draft with your 3 divisional opponents only. The Teammates from all 8 HOF players of you and your 3 divisional opponents will make up your draft pool. Draft order for round 1 will be based on the combined salary of your 2 HOF players with a lowest/first to highest/last order, then serpentine for rounds 2-23. Each Teammate must use the same season as the HOFer's season. No twisting. HOF players in the League cannot be used as a Teammate. Each set of teams in a division has a separate pool of players. If the same team appears in 2 different divisions then those players can be drafted once in each division.

Season 2 and each subsequent season you will keep your 2 Hall of Fame players and they'll progress 1 season ahead. These will be the only 2 players that you will automatically keep each year. Everyone will then be randomly assigned to a division again and hold a new 23 round draft using the new Teammates of you and your divisional opponents HOF players for the draft pool.

When you reach the end of your Hall of Fame players career you'll select a new HOF player that isn't in the league. Each HOFer must sit out at least 1 season before being chosen again.

Replacement owners have the option to select new HOF players upon entering the league.

Just to be clear/sure, do you mean 'played' (i.e. Ruth), or rookie season after 1925???

Rookie season must be after 1925, Ruth is not eligible.
I have changed the wording in the rules to reflect this.

I've got a question. When drafting teammates of the 8 HOFers in our division I'm assuming that they have to be teammates of the year being used by the HOFers and not any teammates throughout their careers? Example, if Joe DiMaggio is drafted and his first year is 1936 then only his teammates from that year are eligible to be drafted?
