Line means the player is responsible to defend against the run, and rush the passer on passing plays. Cover means the player is assigned to cover the wide receivers, and RB's and TE's out on pass routes. You can set the cover guys to also blitz. You can't set line guys to blitz because they are already rushing the passer on pass plays.
