What are some of the most active and competitive conferences in the game right now?

Southern California Conf in Knight is one of the top D3 conferences. Admittedly I'm biased, but we have all teams filled and very active coaches chat. We also put 9 teams in the NT last season with 3 #1 seeds and 2 others on the bubble.

Little East, Smith. 12 users, top conference RPI and I think we have 4 locks/5 bubbles after 18-19 games.

4 locks, 3 bubbles and 6 in top 50 RPI.

Heartland D2 Crum. Has had some of the top overall conference RPI's ever. Top conference RPI in D2 Crum every season for nearly 40 seasons.

In Wooden, the Ivy and Big Ten are really stacked. Big Sky will have seven active and posting coaches also.

University in Rupp (D3) has dropped from full to just 8 human-coached teams, but has advanced 4 teams to the Elite Eight in 3 of the last 4 National Tournaments.

USA S in Phelan has been loaded for a long time now. We just made the top 10 RPI list a couple seasons ago. This season we currently have top 4 spots in projection report. Worst on projection is 80. Definitely stacked top to bottom.

I'm not in the conference, but the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in Phelan D2 is stacked. 12 users, 4 top 10 teams, #1 conference RPI by far (B+ prestige), and 8 of the top 15 teams in the projection report with 4 games left.

Mountain West in Tark. 3rd in conference RPI, 3 top 15 teams who were 1 and 2 seeds in the tourney.

I just joined the Big 10 in Wooden. It really is brutal. Illinois and Michigan met in the Final Four this past season. And Wisconsin and Michigan State are always ranked.

I'll toss in University (D3) in Naismith, although we have fallen off of late (miss you jdno, pep, jsa!) - In the last 25 seasons, 18 national champions come from the Univ conf. That includes an 11 season stretch of 10 national camps and 8 runner-ups. At times, it felt more challenging to win the conference tourney than the national tournament. Naismith University still holds the D3 conference RPI title

This conf now ends up having 1-2 really good teams not make the tourney due to the min wins requirement. It IS brutal if you don't have 7-10 wins in non-conf.

Another really cool way to look it based on a single year is we have the top 9 in SOS and 11 of the top 13 in SOS. And trust me when I SAY WE HAVE to intentionally schedule weak non conf if we are not an elite team going into the season. We all know that is difficult to predict at times. I HATE turning down offers to play, especially from good coaches outside of conf, but I have to now trim off my non conf even when I am confident of being a top 25 team. That could mean I am still just 9th best in conf at best, but a top 25 team in ranks

USA S in phelan now has the top 5 spots in projection report heading into the CT. 10 teams will make tourney. Other 2 are just shy of required wins.
