A: No, they do not need to. They can all come from the same franchise, if you wish.

Q: Can I use the park of an expansion team I don't use players from?
A: Yes, you may use any park from an expansion franchise, regardless of whether you have players on your team from that franchise.

Q: Do [the remaining players] all need to come from the same expansion franchise? For example if I use the Mets, Royals and Blue Jays as my three teams, do I need to select one franchise for all my remaining players, or can they all be from different expansion franchises outside of my original three?
A: No, they do not need to. They can come from any combination of the remaining franchises.

Q: Can I twist players?
A: No, there is no twisting in this theme.

Am I allowed to use the 01 Mariners or is that a typo and should read 77 Mariners? Am I allowed to use the Rangers, Nationals etc even though they were the Pilots and Expos? Or are we only using the first year the franchise came into existence?

Select three single season (expansion) teams and draft $18-$20 million worth of players from each of those teams. The rest of your roster must be from any expansion franchise different than those three you selected.

The three teams you select can be but don't have to be the same franchise.

Yes. Think expansion "franchise". Not "team". The franchise list is on Page 1 of this thread, in the first post.

For example, if you selected '62 Mets, '79 Angels & '01 Mariners and drafted $18-20 million worth of players from those teams, the remaining roster can be filled with any expansion players coming from teams other than Mets, Angels, Mariners.

Or if you went with '62 Angels, '79 Angels and & '01 Angels, the rest of you roster could come from any expansion players except the Angels.

I would think that is a very long shot prop bet.

I think he meant people that used two of the exact same year/franchise combinations as someone else.

Unlikely...but then again, we saw a heavy dose of early Cubs and NY Giants teams last year in a few themes...many were similar.
