These salary updates were a killer. One of my teams went up over $5M.

I don't understand question one on the 70 mil expansion

franchise theme. How can we choose three different expansion franchise but use players form just one team.

You need three distinct seasons but you can use one franchise multiple times. You can select three different years of the same franchise if you want (e.g. '77 Brewers, '82 Brewers and '08 Brewers).

$70M: Expansion Ball
Select three single-season teams from franchises that joined MLB in 1961 or later (i.e., 62 Mets, 79 Angels, 01 Mariners). You must spend between 18M and 20M from each of these three teams. The rest of your roster can come from any season of any expansion franchise that you did not select a team from (i.e. in the above example, I would not be able to use Mets, Angels, or Mariners players from other seasons).

This is correct. Thanks Jtpsops.

I'm not sure I understand the question, would you mind rephrasing?

Example player plays 5 games in the outfield. Is eligible for outfielder?

Yes, there is no restriction on that. You are just not allowed to use the combined version of their season

finished my 70 mil team - boy does it stink.

The aversion to the $300K exception seems cruel and unusual...

But so goes the WISC and so goes jbohrman back to the drawing board.

This $90M theme is driving me insane. I keep thinking I've found good teams, and then I remember that there's a DH in this theme. Aargh.

I have a question about the $140M theme.

When talking about the hitters criteria the rules state "Your hitters must meet one, and only one, of the following three thresholds:".

Does that mean if I choose to draft a doubles team my hitters must combine for less than 150 triples and less than 300 homeruns? They must meet ONLY the doubles threshold and the other two criteria must be below the threshold. (one and only one).

My take on it, Yes, that's what it means.

Correct

Just to clarify before I mess up drafting this team, in the variable cap league, the only way to have a $130mil cap is to draft all D fielders. Is this correct?
