Greatest Football Player Ever Saw ?please Name em Topic

The greatest I ever saw was Marcus Dupree. His short time in Norman was amazing in more ways than just on the field.

Barry Sanders the GOAT.
Barry the GOAT in my lifetime. I hear Jim Brown was insane though.

Prior to his devastating knee injury, Gale Sayers was the most explosive back I ever saw, not to mention his pass catching and KO and punt returns abilities. I saw Johnny Unitas at Memorial Stadium ( Uncle lived near Baltimore and had season tickets } and he was the best QB I ever watched live.

Bo Jackson. Also probably the best overall athlete I've seen in my lifetime.

Billy Sims had the same number 20 for the Lions (and OU Sooners). He was also pretty good.

For a couple of years there, I thought Terrell Davis would pass Sanders as the GOAT. Ki-Jana Carter in college too.

But, injuries.

Best player live. Hands down, Micheal Vick. Incredible speed/quickness. Looked like a man playing Little League.

Best player on TV. Either Bo or LT or Barry. 'Nough said.

Players I wish I had saw live: Bo, Barry, LT, Joe Montana, Marcus Dupree, Jim Brown, Primetime(any location/level), and of course, Walter Payton.

Defense: Reggie White. Saw the guy live a couple of times when he was at GB. Incredible. He had an amazing combination of smarts, attitude and leadership, will and unearthly strength. Seemed able to just decide when he was going to make a big play. Offense: Joe Montana. Saw him once at Candlestick Park. As many teams' draft scouting report said, he was was too small, too slow, and lacked arm strength. The only things the poor guy could do well were perform miracles and win Super Bowls.
