There was an operation "fill Allen" about 3 years ago, pre 3.0. Lasted about 2 seasons before interest was lost. There isn't much precedent to suggest 'fill Rupp' will be any different.

I think we can get more people to play even as a niche game... Fix some stuff, make it a great game, advertise, start a contest on FOX .. playing the game

My point was that a lot of users say "I want to play humans" but don't really follow up on it. Rupp was a starting point and the interest didn't exactly explode. 30+ is pretty solid but certainly not an explosion.

And I truly get why it may not have been more. "Play against humans" is overridden by other factors. benis doesn't like the job process, I only want two teams for now, etc, etc.

Don't get me wrong, I like the idea. But *most* people would rather have more humans come to them instead of seeking it out.

I'm in a D3 superconference in Phelan. It's awesome. I want others to come and play with us and would love if we could keep it full. But to start from scratch and go through several rebuilds to get up to D1 isn't super appealing to a lot of folks.

Now, IF a new world opened up and everyone started together at the same time.. THAT would be awesome.

Well, back in the day, I would have rather had puss thrown at me than seek it out. But that's not how it works. If you want to play against humans, you have to go where the humans are.

How come it can't be how it works? I realize with the present state that youre forced into it but it shouldn't be that way. And if WIS wanted to make changes (like fix jobs) then it wouldn't be nearly as bad (IMHO)

I truly thing WIS problem is staff. They have nobody assigned to work on our game.

They have no incentive to work on this game.

They may have no need to work on this game.

Not to agree with spud, errr, r2d2 or whatever, but "we" don't agree on what needs fixing. Any change will be met with resistance. That didn't go over so well last year.

Improve jobs and reduce downtime. Simple and non controversial. Only the Spuds of the world will have a problem with that.

do that and you want have a mass exodus like last time.

Reduce downtime agreed. Didn't make the NT in IBA - now I wait until 07/05 to start again. Uggh.
