Will WIS start using the new 10-day DL that MLB is now using?

HBD should in some way try to keep up will MLB. Qualifying Offers have been part of the MLB for the past few seasons, if the MLB sticks with it, HBD should put this in the game. 10 day DL should already be in HBD, that's an easy one.

First of all, leave aside that there's no monetary reason for WiS to expend assets tinkering with its games, unless it intends to recruit new users.

Certain elements of real life aren't going to work in a game because they're more easily manipulated without real life conditions. The 10-Day DL is already being - no one's calling it "abused" yet - by major league teams. There was an article a couple of weeks ago that the Dodgers are for all intents and purposes using a seven-man rotation by shuttling their rickety SPs on and off a week at a time.

I would bet that MLB is monitoring 10-Day DL use closely, and if it's abused, will consider rescinding it in future.

WIS has stated in the past that they would not make any changes until the systems in MLB are essentially tried and true. They don't want to put time, effort, and money into changes that mirror MLB, only to see them amended significantly in the near future.
