What the heck put me down for USA as well! Are we going by place of birth as USA teamh has had Deadmarsh, Hull, and few others not born there.

We were trying to decide that earlier in this thread.
Hull was certainly born in Canada but played for the US. Heatly was born in Germany, but grew up in and played for Canada. So are we going by birthplace or International play? Personally, I say birthplace.

I agree Karl. I think Alex Smith was born in France, so I don't have him

Sweden-Norway-Finalnd Denmark are one?? I took Janik Hansen (danish).. he is the cheap guy I needed to make the cap

I also took Hansen. Eller as well!
I did add DEN/NOR to Europe to give those who choose some extra inventory to their rosters.

Lionized, what do you want to do with Rod Langway? He was born in Taiwan.. Open for all? Do it.. It will help some of our cap space because he comes in low and high price seasons

believe players who are questionable (Hull, Heater etc.) could be used for either. Nolan is another example.

Nolan and the Hulls were born in Canada. You either have to stick with it, or else I will edit my team and grab Alex Smith

Eg: Bob Nystrom was born in Sweden, therefore I am entitled to keep him

If you do this any other way, you will have some pi$$ed off guys. Seen that one before, and it will make for a whole lot of work when you check the teams for compliance

Stick to country of birth. No both ways just keep it simple.

Owen Nolan was born in England, therefore, he belongs to Europe. Dany Heatly was born in Germany. Ditto.
If we're going by place of birth, I'm Ok with that. No matter which country the player played/s for internationally.
Excellent input.
Players born outside the regions we have set out are free for the picking.

I'll take Russia (assuming I can draft guys that were born in the Soviet Union, but are now not part of Russia, i.e. Ukraine, Latvia, etc.)
