To 1912 Walter Johnson

It's been a great 4 months, but you're sure to lose your value in the next few hours. Maybe one day we will meet again.

Don't do that again, you scared the crap outta me. I thought you were leaving from the title.

Ha! Didn't realize that when I wrote it.

Not going anywhere for quite a while. This game is still a lot of fun

WIS will need to fix this dynamic pricing at some point.

Yep, this has been a problem for awhile

I don't understand how it works. 08 Joss jumps another 10% but 07 Joss rises only 2%?

Anyone know why? There's no way 08 Joss is still being used as much as 07 Joss, let alone 5x as much.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. There aren't a ton of top tier options at higher caps. There is a lot more roster variance at lower caps.

Did the salaries actually change yet? I have a team in the draft center that has the exact same salary now that it did this morning. Salaries were supposed to go into effect a few hours ago.

Good catch. I just sent in a ticket.

Weirdly, you can see the price changes in each player's "Salary History"

I've never had success with with Joss at caps over $140 mil. Give me Walsh, Alexander, Big Train, Mathewson, Cicotte, Hendrix, Brown, Hubbell, Smokey Joe... just to name a few.

I still believe in leaving caps over $140 mil out of consideration for how they tally players drafted

None of my draftcenter teams have had their salaries updated. To those take more time to update?

Yeah, this seems right. If a player is drafted a lot at low caps, that's a sign they are underpriced. If they are drafted a lot at high caps, that's a sign they are one of the very few players good enough to be worth using in a high cap league.

In general it feels like you want something like a comparison between how often a player is drafted, and how often players with similar salaries (or perhaps similar $/PA, and $/IP) are drafted. Right now, every high end player is going up all the time, and that isn't what was intended.

It's become apparent that every player used even one time during a salary cycle will see his salary increased. This isn't dynamic pricing in the sense that a player's salary will rise and fall based on usage. That's what people expected. This is more like continuous salary increases where the most-used players are simply being increased by a greater percentage each cycle.
