There is a progressive twist that has been going since 1969, where you get a random team from that year and twist them. Since we have the new league formats, we've gone back to 1901(now in 1948) and started from the beginning with 16 teams. So you can sign up and get your team assigned by luck of the draw and twist them, but there are only 16 teams.
The divisions will be aligned by the winning percentage the team actually had that season. The way we align, even the rotten teams have a better shot at the playoffs, and we all know that anything can happen in the playoffs. Each season the divisions will be realigned according to the winning percentage the teams had.
If there is a tie, we'll rank the teams by Pythagorean W-L record, then by run differential, then by runs scored, and if necessary alphabetically.
Once we are full, I'll use the last 2 digits of your owner rating to give out the teams. The lowest number gets the best team. If there is a tie, I'll use the 3rd digit to break it, with the lowest getting the best team. Each year we'll get different teams using the same method.
It'll be a standard twist league, which means you can use anyone who played for your team that season according to Baseball-Reference.com. You can use any season of their career as long as they made at least one appearance for your team that year. You can use any $200K player from any franchise to fill out your roster. You don't have to take the backups from your actual roster if you want to use $200K players instead. ($200K means $200K, not $201K. If you're taking someone who wasn't on your roster I don't want them to be able to help your team.) Some of the Older rosters are limited especially in pitching and defense, but we are all in the same boat, and you got your team by luck of the draw, so you twist the team you got the best you can and like it!
You must use the stadium your team played in that year. If they used 2 stadiums, you get to pick the one you want.
AAA is allowed (average).
No Waiver Wire.
No Trades.
You can use SimLive for the next game or next series, but don't jump ahead beyond that.
No clones.
Only one team per manager.

The winner of this season will become commissioner for next season.
