nick..can you post 2 songs by klaatu....calling occupants and subrosa subway...i think people who have never heard these songs will be surprised.
It's easy. You type your entire post, then get the youtube link by copying it from the address bar. Come back to your WIS post, and highlight a word (or words) by left-clicking on the word (or words) you want to link, and then drag the cursor along for the length of the word (or words). Then click on the link icon above (that chain link-looking thing), and paste your link address there (right click, then paste), then click OKAY. And you're good to go.

Here are the tunes:

Neil Young - Wonderin'

Very fine, subtle acting by Neil. Seriously!

Beastie Boys - Sabotage

I think this video was the basis for the TV series NYPD Blue.

I really liked that "Conditions of My Parole," evil_twin. Never heard of those guys before. I looked up the lyrics and the official video (skip to 1:18 if you're not one for backstory preamble).

Best drunk lady karaoke singer ever, Kathleen Emery:

I heard this Common song and liked the sampled portion. I looked that up, and found this 1972 song by a band called Honey Cone. For some reason they only play the cool (sampled) part at the very beginning, and then don't return to it. Still a good song, but they should have milked that opening a little more!

This thread should've been start'd @ least
15 yrs ago... The wide variety astonish's &
stirs the soup in unpredictability as 2 what
any 1 may pleasantly post next >>>

Old stuff, new stuff, & what's in between...
Here's a half dozen that'll add 2 a playlist,
& definitely enhance it in no specific order:

Despite the vast catalogs of Stevie Nicks,
& Joan Jett, the single greatest rock'&'roll
jam by a female vocalist can also be seen
on YouTube, in 1 of the fastest videos ever
produced (head-spinning, 4-sure) by a band
call'd "Republica"... Entitled: "Ready To Go"...

The formality of ladies 1st, --now out of the
way, 1-hit wonders are a treasure vault... &,
a male band known as "DaDa" did a unique,
funky, blues-like rocker... "Dizz Knee Land",
the title, 1st hit my ears @ movies end, --as
the credits roll'd... Hilarious lyrics, 4-sure...

Song #3, relatively new, perform'd nicely by
a group call'd "The War On Drugs", reminds
me of some of that well-arranged stuff that
was done by Al Stewart in the mid-70's... It's
cloud-like, & floats 4 almost 9 minutes... It is
entitled as "Under The Pressure", & definitely
worth the listen... Oh my... Breath-taking...

The last half, of the half-dozen offerings,
again in no particular order, w/o fanfare:

"Come Undone", ...by Duran Duran...
"Sanctuary", ...by The Cult...

&, finally, something else relatively new, &,
very Fleetwood Mac-ish, by another group
known as "Empire Of The Sun", entitled as:
"Ice On The Dune"...

Thanx 4 letting me post, -&- by all means,
KEEP THIS THREAD ALIVE !!!... Will look
forward 2 any & every future comment...
