For 34 defense how do you distribute #s in each position?

I try to aim for 6 DL's, 8 LB's, 9 DB's on my roster. What do you guys do? 9 DBs seem like a lot but I also like to use Dime.

I like to have twice as many at the position than the defense calls for. In case of the 3-4, 6 DL's, 8 LB's and 8 DB's.

So, if you have just four viable LBs for a 3-4, you're totally screwed. Kind of like my rebuild at Duquesne has.

I also try to have it as evenly balanced as I can. So in case of 6 dl I try to have 2 Sr's, 2 Jr's, etc. This has worked for me in d2.

Does the 6 DL's include a redshirt? Or do you carry 7 with one redshirted?
