field - MW
robusk: Mo Cheeks, Fat Lever, Maurice Lucas, Herb Williams, Roy Hinson,Sam Perkins, Don Buse,

Good – Cheeks solid – Lever a good role player – I like interior - Buse a quality choice in 7th

Bad – Little to no firepower – Won’t scare anyone on offense.
Obviously your opinion is your own so I am not knocking it...

But I have a team eFG% of 50.98%, TS% of 55.41% (both of which are damn strong for an 80s only squad considering the lack of 3s available), 14 TO/G and never less than 11 points of usage on the floor. I think that offense is plenty... with elite defense and rebounding to boot.

I mean, I had the last pick so I am a little behind the eight ball to begin with since it is not ABBA but I think the offense is underestimated in this case.
How do you size up each of the 4 races?

I meant no disrespect - picking so late is always a challenge -
and my analysis isn't 'scientific'

I don't want to invest the time necessary to go deeper-

A lot of my opinion has to do with my exposure to WIS ratings associated with the players,
but most of it has to do with 'The eyeball test'
and that usually skews in favor of big names.
Although I don't like the Isiah Dmnq duo due to WIS eFG% etc. etc.

My b.s. here is for fun and its not worth paper its printed on
(due in large part to the high cost of ink of course)

Oh trust me, I did not feel disrespected at all. I just wanted to offer a counterpoint is all.

Well, I think some of the teams probably have more assists than they get credit for. I think teams that get more perimeter scoring are going to be proven smart because most of us will face 0, -1 or -2 defenses and not have a good way to counter it unless we have dude who draw a lot of fouls.

I think teams that keep turnovers and fouls low are in a good position as well.

Had I managed my spreadsheet better for this drafted by using a team drafted filter instead of a player filter, I'd probably offer up deeper analysis. Instead, I might chime in on case by case basis.

I agree with my eval for the most part I chose good oreb guards hoping to gain an advantage but sacrificed some passing. I wish you would have mentioned my defense though. The players included in your eval, their defensive ratings are as follows... 91,90, 80, 77, 71, 70. Idk any one else has that much defensive depth.

p.s. Superrobb don't listen to him you picked two U of L players because your'e smart. HA!

Though I guess it would be hard to know which seasons I chose to know defense

Yeah, that is elite. I thought I was good with 80, 90, 70, 63, 65, 59, 71. Yours is better for sure.

I LOVED your evals cmac! I especially loved that I didn't have to do them this time lol. Thanks for stepping up!

My "Up the Crekk" team may try something I never do but with this bunch, I think it could be very effective. Stockton and MR Richardson are two of the best defensive guards in the decade with high steal percentages. Same for Pippen at the 3. John Williams is one of the highest steal % in a reserve role at the 3. Alvan Adams has perhaps the highest steal % of any of the 4's in the decade. Barry Carroll was just a usage guy in the paint for the half court O. Off the bench, I have Dudley Bradley and his over 4 steals %. Otis Smith and his 2.5 steals per game, and Darwin Cook and his 3+ steals per game.

I mayyyyy press most all of the time and see what happens. And play half court offense to take advantage of MR and Stocktons passing and keep the TO's down. If that is not working after 10-15 games, I'm F'd lol
