Knuckleball world is in our season 10 World Series and will be looking for owners for a few spots once it is over. We suspect that we will have 4 or possibly 5 openings for season 11. Reserve your spot now and potentially get in before the end of the season or just reserve your team for when rollover happens. Our aim is to have spots filled by rollover so we can roll immediately.
These are the 5 openings that will be available
Former Seattle Silver franchise (76-86, 3rd in NL North)

This team had a veteran owner take over after it was abandoned in season 9 and set it up great for the future. Season 10 was proof as the team saw a 21 game increase in wins. This team has limited ML salary investment, lots of young ML players, and prospects in the minors. It is a rebuild that already has the hard work done for you. It includes SS prospect John Costello http://www.whatifsports.com/hbd/Pages/Popups/PlayerRatings.aspx?pid=8661414 and 3B prospect Chip Kapler http://www.whatifsports.com/hbd/Pages/Popups/PlayerRatings.aspx?pid=8485636 and RP prospect Reynoldo Johnson http://www.whatifsports.com/hbd/Pages/Popups/PlayerRatings.aspx?pid=8619410 and 2B prospect Santo Chirinos http://www.whatifsports.com/hbd/Pages/Popups/PlayerRatings.aspx?pid=8444021 and RF prospect Rico Servet http://www.whatifsports.com/hbd/Pages/Popups/PlayerRatings.aspx?pid=8444016 and SS prospect Eli Amarista http://www.whatifsports.com/hbd/Pages/Popups/PlayerRatings.aspx?pid=8444036 and a probably Type A free agent in SP Chief Lane http://www.whatifsports.com/hbd/Pages/Popups/PlayerRatings.aspx?pid=6667029 to resign or get comp picks from
Former San Antonio Broncos (82-80, 4th in AL South)

Veteran laden roster in a competitive division. You could go either way with this franchise as there are about 10 legitimate ML prospects in the system that you could use to make deals or call up to take the next step or use as the basis of a rebuild.
Former Salt Lake City Salt Dogs (66-96, 2nd in AL West)
http://www.whatifsports.com/hbd/Pages/Popups/FranchiseRatings.aspx?fid=6449
A once great franchise still has some young talent like Davey Bazardo http://www.whatifsports.com/hbd/Pages/Popups/PlayerRatings.aspx?pid=7300475 and Clark Sauerbeck http://www.whatifsports.com/hbd/Pages/Popups/PlayerRatings.aspx?pid=7748698 at the major league level that can be the core of restoring the team to it's former glory.
Former San Francisco Coast Miwoks (66-96, 3rd in AL West)

This franchise you can get right now as the owner has not checked in during the playoffs at all and can be replaced. You can get a little jump start on next season! By my quick count, I believe they are looking at the 7th pick in the draft. The team is not horrendous, but I wouldn't sugar coat it by saying they are good either. They are a rebuild with a few tradeable pieces in the majors and already have some talented prospects like Cap Devalle
http://www.whatifsports.com/hbd/Pages/Popups/PlayerRatings.aspx?pid=8175414 and Clea Davidson
http://www.whatifsports.com/hbd/Pages/Popups/PlayerRatings.aspx?pid=8661534 and Roy Rheames
