Accidentally deleted the main post when I meant to edit it so here it is again:
The only rule is a new anti-tanking rule described below:
*Note, new owners will not be subject to the rule until their second season.
A 62 MWR. If an owner fails to meet 62 wins then he is placed on probation for 2 seasons. If the owner again fails to meet the 62 win minimum in either of the next two probationary seasons he will not be allowed to return.
The following are the open teams:
Ottawa - (73-89) 4th AL North - 12th pick in the draft. Stayed competitive for most of the year, hit a rough patch towards the end of the season.
Chicago, Wrigley - (50-112) 4th AL East - 1st pick in the draft. Definitely not the worst team, this one was semi-abandoned after 30 or so games.
Helena - (87-75) 2nd AL West - 19th pick in the draft.
Boise - (76-86) 3rd NL North - 13th pick in the draft. A top heavy team that has a chance to make a run for the playoffs with some free agents or pivot to a rebuild.
Cleveland - (62-100) 4th NL North - 6th pick in the draft. This team is deeper in pitching than hitting. Not as bad as its record, but will be a challenging rebuild with not as much financial flexibility as the other available teams.
Charlotte - (60-102) 4th NL South - 5th pick in the draft. The team has a number of major league assets, a handful of quality prospects, and payroll flexibility. This is probably going to be one of the easier rebuilds for an owner wanting to shape the team his way immediately.
Los Angeles - (95-67) 1st NL West - 28th pick in the draft
Seattle - (92-70) 2nd NL West - 24th pick in the draft.
Buffalo - (71-91) 4th NL East - 10th pick in the draft
Indianapolis - (90-72) 2nd NL East - 22nd pick in the draft. Best team available, built up by veteran owner tomcecil
