Love the concept but hate the aaa rule. What level of aaa will it be?

I'm glad you like the concept, dewelch!
The AAA are "average", but since you are selecting your AAA just like you select the other 25 players, you know exactly what you are getting. I like the manual AAA feature (not many use it), because it gives you extra flexibility to float guys from AAA to the major league roster and back again throughout the season. Sometimes, I rotate in my MOPUP pitchers, or do a platoon at a position...that sort of thing. It just extends your bench that much further.

I have a follow-up question to dewelch71's question about the manual selection of AAA players for our farm system...When do we manually select? Is it after we finalize our 25-man opening day roster but before the league schedule is generated, or at some later time?...vm

Hi VanMeter,

Use the MLB119387 code to enter the league. Draft 25 players (they don't have to be your best team, just 25 players that fit under the cap and conform to the general rules). When you have done that, 10 AAA roster spots will appear at the bottom of the draft screen. Draft your AAA the same way you do for the first 25 players, but make sure the AAA players are from your franchise and are within 1980 - 2016. Its that simple!

Hope this helps, DT

I'd like the 1962-1964 Los Angeles Dodgers, playing at Dodger Stadium.

Hi poppapomp,

Thanks for signing up! Unfortunately, the theme rules include limiting the seasons to 1980 - 2016, so 1962 - 1964 is not valid. I set the seasons for the modern era so that almost all of the franchises are on equal footing. Please select another span of 3 years.

Thanks!
