3XCC League
Triple Progressive – College Class system

The FAST FOOD of PROGRESSIVES

A college Class system will be a Hallmark of this league.
Players that are drafted have FOUR years of eligibility as the League Progresses.
College model only relates to 4 year class cycle -
**** NO CONNECTION to a players REAL alma mater ***

PLAYER SEASONS
Available from Three different seasons

(Season I: 1961 - 1981 - 2001,
Season II: '62-'82-'02
Season III: ’63-’83-03’
Season IV etc.)

Each team required to have THREE players from each ERA (60s-80s-00s)

The Class system and three simultaneous Eras should enable QUICKER REBUILDS - continuing interest for owners.
I am hopeful that a College System helps alleviate a major point of controversy associated with progressive leagues - TANKING.
It should also stimulate an INFUSION OF TALENT into each draft.

CLASSES
Each Franchise will have 12 players -
3 Seniors, 3 Juniors, 3 Sophomores, 3 Freshmen

In future drafts (Season II, III, IV, etc.), Each Player in the First Three Rounds will be a Freshman

In order to have BALANCED CLASSES -
The initial draft will have a system of determining each players Class
Class assignments for every player will be dictated by the INTITAL drafts order.

Initial Draft
To create some variation and different classes, each round of the initial draft will dictate that players class
Round 1 - Each Player will be designated as a Freshman (Fr.) and will have Four years of eligibility
Round 2- Each Player will be designated as a Sophomore (So.) and will have Three years of eligibility
3- Each Player will be designated as a Junior (Jr.) and will have Two years of eligibility
4- Each Player will be designated as a Senior (Sr.) and will have One year of eligibility

5 - Each Player will be designated as a Freshman (Fr.) and will have Four years of eligibility
6- Each Player will be designated as a Sophomore (So.) and will have Three years of eligibility
7- Each Player will be designated as a Junior (Jr.) and will have Two years of eligibility
8- Each Player will be designated as a Senior (Sr.) and will have One year of eligibility

9 - Each Player will be designated as a Freshman (Fr.) and will have Four years of eligibility
10- Each Player will be designated as a Sophomore (So.) and will have Three years of eligibility
11- Each Player will be designated as a Junior (Jr.) and will have Two years of eligibility
12- Each Player will be designated as a Senior (Sr.) and will have One year of eligibility

this is to help balance teams so there similar numbers in each class,

I don't get how this works. What is the part about drafting players with four years of eligibility? Are college seniors the only players I can draft?
7/24/2017 3:40 PM
You can draft ANYONE that is playing in
1961
1981
2001
Every Player drafted in the first round of the initial draft will be a Freshman (meaning they get to play on your team FOUR YEARS)
Every Player drafted in the Second round of the initial draft will be a sophomore (you get them for three yars)
etc etc.

then, during next years draft - every team will have lost THREE Seniors.
each of the first three rounds of THAT draft - EVERY player drafted will be a Freshman

the League has nothing to do with a plyers college - or alma mater...
or when they were in school

It only utilizes a four year system of eligibility to keep players from being long term parts of ONE franchise...
and to churn talent through the draft
and to help alleviate TANKING - and shorten long rebuilds.

Can You draft the same player every year? Example Wilt 61 62 63 64 or do you have to wait until he graduates?

You have to wait until he graduates.

good deal jcred -
any idea for a school name?

(I'm trying to have owners utilize a Div 2 Div 3 or naia school )

(and remember this draft has NOTHING to do with NBA players affiliation with any school-
its just the four year system of eligibility we are borrowing from college)

I'll go with Colby Sawyer College
