I ran this league twice in the past and recieved positive feedback on the concept both times. So here i am with another go round and guaging interest before setting it up.
If your tired of drafting the same guys and seeing the same usual suspects in lineup after lineup, have fun again drafting a team. Throughout the history of baseball, there's been many great players, many of whom some of us have never heard of and are rarely, if ever, used here at WIS.
A great example of this is1890 Spud Johnson who, despite giving you more than 700 PAs, a .352 avg#, and .409 OBP# for less than $6mil, he's only been used seven times. Well, now's your chance to see them in action.
The rules are simple. It's an $80 million 24 team league with 6/2 you pick average AAA. No trades, no WW, no DH, and injuries are on.
However, no hitter can have more than 50 prior history uses, and no pitcher can have more than 100 prior history uses. This includes your AAA players. You'll be surprised at how many great players fit this criteria and are hardly used.
