Hoops Dynasty is not listed on gmgames.org for some unknown reason. Most highly rated games have 8,000-25,000 views. How does a game get on there?

Simleague basketball is on there but all of the dynasty games are not. Very interesting...

I will say that people might know that if this one was listed.

That's the "ADVERTISING WILL FILL ALL THE WORLDS!!!" the game needs. Because people looking for simgames know how to use a search. But they might be lazy and go to gmgames.org because they found one there previously.

Which ones have you played? I saw the college bball one was like 35 bucks.

OOTP is definitely a good one, I've never played, but do know enough about it and the overall look is impressive.

I just downloaded the free bball game app and quickly simulated a season. Ended up winning the national championship. Then I get the message "your team fell short of expectations and recruits took notice. You lost some prestige."

Zengm is fine.

Puresim baseball was a great free game until they stopped updating it.

OOTP is great but pretty costly for something I just want to mess around with (this game is nearly free for me right now).

I buy OOTP every year. By far the deepest, most detailed sports sim ever.

benis, did you ask for help on the message board after failing short of expectations?

WIS's Baseball Sim and OOTP cater to two very different audiences. While you can do (to some degree) what WIS's baseball sim does in OOTP, you can't replicate the level of customization and configurability of OOTP in WIS's SimLeague Baseball.

OOTP is by far the best sim out there, with possibly the lone exception of Football Manager--but they cater to different audiences than WIS and are largely aimed at single player manager modes (not to say that both games don't offer robust multiplayer opportunities, but both haven't quite found the niche that a web-based sim like HD, GD, or HBD have).
