Bro, if you're going to run this across all 1,536 teams, I estimate somewhere around 1,536 games to settle the battle royale! That's a lot of posts. No need to copy the whole box score for every game. First, the format sucks. Second, you did one better, within the same thread, by posting a link to the Boxscores. If you want anyone to keep paying attention to this thread, help yourself.

That all said. I do think it'd be pretty damn cool to know which team survives. I'm just not sure that you could run through it all on your own. Assuming 1,536 total games to settle this out (final 3 teams play round robin to determine the ultimate victor), 1 minute to setup and run the sim, 1 minute to post the results and, finally, 1 minute to cross-check against a running list to make sure everyone gets a game. If run in the most efficient manner possible -- 3 total mins per game, with no breaks to: eat, drink, sleep, look at porn, fart, sex yourself, remember why you're doing this, sex your partner, cry, or bleed -- this would take you 76 hrs and 48 mins to run solo.

So I ask, what was your original goal/thesis?

Yeah maybe my original goal; or thesis is too ambitious.

Maybe my math is off but this is how i figured it.................I really had no intention of finishing this up in a month or two, it was suppose to carry me through the entire season or beyond. I already have all the first round matchups made and, your right, the sims take less then a minute. So its a simple copy paste to the boards, in the end it literally takes two minutes to post a game but lets call it 5 for each. My goal was to sim 50 games a week, so that would mean about 30 weeks to finish, which is about 7 or 8 months. It actually comes down to 7 games a day or overall 35 minutes a day.

So doing this is not a problem for me, and leaves plenty of time for sex or bleeding...

But I do hear you load and clear about the boredom of readers following it and that was my original concern, and I think thats the bigger issue.

Maybe Ill put this to bed on here,
Thanks for your honesty..

I think this is a great idea, but would prefer to just see the final score. Keep it coming!

Keep it going. I love seeing the old timers names! Sweet idea. If it takes a year, I could care less. Thanks!
